Many people start the year off saying “New Year, New Me!”

However, what if you chose to put a different spin on that? What if you said “New Year, Same Me!” and decided to learn to love yourself as you are?

Open Minds is hosting our second DBT Skills Group and YOU are invited to join us in taking the journey on learning to love ourselves just as we are!

  • What is DBT?

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (or DBT for short) is a scientifically proven therapeutic intervention used to help individuals with a number of mental health concerns. Originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder, we have since learned it's also effective for treating post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and more!
  • How Does DBT Help?

DBT teaches you how to regulate and manage emotions, how to handle stress without resorting to harmful behaviors, and how to improve interpersonal relationships by effectively and respectfully communicating needs and boundaries.
  • What to Expect in the DBT Skills Group?

This group will be held once a week for two hours. All necessary materials will be provided. However, you are free to bring any comfort items (such as special pens, snacks, blankets, etc.) that will help you get the most out of group! Insurance is accepted. Self-pay options available as well.
